Otumoetai Toy Library

Welcome to Otumoetai Toy Library!

As a service of the St John’s Anglican Parish, Otumoetai, the Otumoetai Toy Library was started in 2006, with the aim to provide the community with a range of educational and stimulating toys and games, designed to aid mental, physical and social development of children.

We offer over 600 toys for hire from as little as $1 a fortnight. Guaranteed to delight, entertain, distract boys and girls from the ages of 6months to 5 years.

An early play is part of a child's first steps towards their education and development. Our range of safe, educational, fun toys and resources are carefully chosen to inspire and promote creative and active play for children in New Zealand.

The library collection is regularly updated with new toys and resources. Puzzles, games, Duplo, activity centres, train sets, electronic toys, ride-ons, outdoor toys, water tables and much more....

The Toy Library needs your help!

We need your help

We are a non-profit organisation run by a voluntary committee with support from our members and their families. We are always in need of new committee members. From each new committee member, we gain new ideas and a fresh look into what can be improved. So come, join the fun group and help your local toy library stay fresh and new.

Info! The Toy Library will then be closed from Saturday 15th December, reopening on Tuesday 22nd January. (Please note that the Library will also be closed on Saturday 26th January – Anniversary Weekend).
