Each toy is in a specific price band, generally there is a limit of 10 toys to be rented. Prices average at $3-00 per fortnight per toy. Note that batteries are not supplied (some may come with batteries, but the library takes no responsibility if the batteries are flat).
Care of Toys
Don’t leave ride-ons, slides, bikes, etc outside in bad weather or overnight.
Toys must be cleaned before return. Clean with anti-bacterial wipes or warm soapy water. Ensure the toy is returned dry.
Don’t lend toys to friends or family.
Overdue Toys
Toys are due back after a 2 week rental period. We have one session’s grace before overdue fees will be charged (typically a fixed price per toy). Fines will be charged for each week of overdue and will continue to build up until paid.
Missing Pieces, Breakage, or Loss of Toy
It’s vital that all pieces are returned with the toy. For every piece that goes missing, you will be charged $1. If you can find the piece after return, we can refund the charge on your account.
If the piece is broken and prevents the use of the toy – the whole or part replacement cost of the toy may be charged to you.
If you lose a toy, you will be charged the replacement cost of the toy.
Refunds
Your membership is non-refundable. If you decide half-way through your term you want to resign, no refunds will be given.
